Gloria Arroyo For Congresswoman? WTF!

Our honorable and most respected president isn't resigning from politics yet. Gloria Arroyo filed her certificate of candidacy as congresswoman for the 2nd district of her hometown Pampanga. This is the first time that an outgoing president of the Republic of the Philippines is running for a lower position. What does this implies?

Some observers say Arroyo is running for congress to maintain her immunity to law suits that are awaiting for her when she steps down from the presidency. This will be a wise move for her. Tons of graft and corruption allegations hounded her presidency and civil society groups are just waiting for her to step down from the presidency and remove her immunity from suits.

Her personal reason for her move is according to her, it's the people of Pampanga that urged her to run for congress, and she just answered to their call. It can be remembered that a lot of ordinary people and almost all local officials of her district flocked to the palace to convince her to run. That, according to her, convinced her to file her candidacy today. Scripted or not, the people's march to the palace is now the main scape goat of madam Gloria in seeking a position in Congress.

But no matter what she say, there's only one thing that I see here - and it spells G-R-E-E-D.

Modern Tinikling

Tinikling is the national dance in the Philippines. Dancers wear the traditional Maria Clara costume and dance gracefully with the beat of the bamboos providing the tempo of the dance.

Modern dancers still wear those Maria Clara costume but with some modern touch - look at the picture below.

I was never a fan of Tinikling, but with dancers as beautiful and sexy as the above, I would love to watch it. Look at the skirt held up and the strap of the bra peeping... She's beautiful huh? I think I'm falling for her :)

A friend says that picture is taken somewhere in Cagayan de Oro City but I doubt...
