Head & Shoulders vs Clear Shampoo

I just notice this "TV Commercial" wars and the latest war going on today is the shampoo commercials. Head & Shoulders have Manny Pacquiao in their latest commercial (see video below).

After some days, Clear Shampoo also released their latest commercial having Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales and Dingdong Dantes doing some movie action stunts (see video below).

I just do not know the statistics how those commercials are doing in terms of ROI for both products. The companies won't surely release the figures.

I just remember the Belo vs Calayan issue earlier this year involving Boy Abunda. I just want to borrow their "tag line" during their war in this new war:

"If you want to look like Manny Pacquiao, use Head & Shoulders. But if you want to look like Piolo, Jericho or Dingdong, use Clear Shampoo"

Why Kris Aquino Picks Dingdong Dantes for Noynoy

When news broke that Kris Aquino picked Dingdong Dantes to be the endorser / youth spokesman for Noynoy's presidential bid, some eyebrows raised. It can be noted that Dingdong is a Kapuso talent while Kris is a gem in ABS-CBN.

Some asked why not Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, John Lloyd Cruz or other stars of the Kapamilya network? Some says it is because Dingdong has no blemish in his record as an actor and in his personal life. Piolo and Sam were rumored to be in a relationship before, but still, there are some Kapamilya stars who have no bad record or whatsoever.

For me, the choice of Dingdong is a briliant political move by Noynoy's camp. It cannot be denied that both the Kapuso and Kapamilya have huge following all over the country. Those loyal followers can be translated into votes come election time.

The Kapamilya's can be taken care of by Kris Aquino, who is a Kapamilya herself. We know the charisma of Kris. he can bring other Kapamilya stars to campaign for Noynoy. Now, how about the Kapuso followers? That is now the responsibility of Dingdong. Dingdong will be in-charge in wooing the Kapuso voters for Noynoy.

In fact, as of this writing, Marian Rivera, who is a Kapuso star and rumored girlfriend of Dingdong, has already expressed her support for the candidacy of Noynoy. When the election comes nearer, more and more Kapuso stars will follow the lead initiated by Dingdong and Marian.

Imagine the battalion of Kapamilya and Kapuso stars campaigning for Noynoy. One of their slogans would be "Unity" and you can see the competing stars united for him and that will have a great impact on the masses.

Ok, I'll start campaigning now "NOYNOY FOR PRESIDENT!".
