Katrina Halili in Darna

Katrina Halili has been tapped to join the forces of evil that will try to conquer the pinay heroine Darna played by Marian Rivera. Katrina is going to reprise her role in the previous Darna which many critics said Katrina was very good in portraying it.

This also developed after the ratings of Darna has gone to a slowdown. The show's producers thought there must be new excitement that will be brought withing the show and one of the things they thought was bringning Katrina's character to the show as soon as possible.

Katrina's character was originally scheduled in later part of the show but due to the above mentioned problem in the ratings, they agreed to put her earlier hoping to improve their showing in the ratings.

PBB Update: Jason Courts Melai?

I am not a PBB fanatic although I have a favorite housemate there - and she is Melai. Why? She's a Mindanaoan and our neighboring province in Cagayan de Oro City.

Melai is the so called "kenkay" in the group and she was paired with Jason lately. The charisma of Melai also captivated the viewers that in the latest text voting, Melai is the highest among the housemates.

Now, my niece says Jason courted Melai and I think they are now in a relationship. Is Jason serious in courting Melai? Is his feelings real? I don't think so. Jason knows that Melai is the favorite here and with him identified with Melai, is a big advantage over the other house mates.

Remember, everybody is anybody's protagonist there. All of them are vying for the grand prize and they are going to do anything just to win the prize. With the latest development on Melai and Jason, Melai is in the losing end, if she will think Jason is serious.

Ara Mina Joins Political Race

Ara Mina joins many other stars in the political race in the last filing day of candidacy. Ara Mina is running for a seat in the Quezon City council second district.

Ara is running as independent candidate in the elections. According to her, she is running as independent even if there are a lot of political parties inviting to run in their tickets. She filed her certificate of candidacy Monday morning in the Quezon City Comelec office.

Oh, I love to be in Quezon City if my public servant is as sexy as that...

Star Awards For TV 2009 Nipple Slip Video

The 2009 Star Awards For TV was once again as hot as ever. A lot of stars graced the occasion that make the night even hotter. Awards were evenly distributed to different networks and stars.

But what made the night even hotter was the dance number where one of the dancers had an accidental nipple-slip during the performance. The nip-slip incident happened in the number performed by Allan K and the secy dancer in her back had her breast exposed. See video below.

Gloria Arroyo For Congresswoman? WTF!

Our honorable and most respected president isn't resigning from politics yet. Gloria Arroyo filed her certificate of candidacy as congresswoman for the 2nd district of her hometown Pampanga. This is the first time that an outgoing president of the Republic of the Philippines is running for a lower position. What does this implies?

Some observers say Arroyo is running for congress to maintain her immunity to law suits that are awaiting for her when she steps down from the presidency. This will be a wise move for her. Tons of graft and corruption allegations hounded her presidency and civil society groups are just waiting for her to step down from the presidency and remove her immunity from suits.

Her personal reason for her move is according to her, it's the people of Pampanga that urged her to run for congress, and she just answered to their call. It can be remembered that a lot of ordinary people and almost all local officials of her district flocked to the palace to convince her to run. That, according to her, convinced her to file her candidacy today. Scripted or not, the people's march to the palace is now the main scape goat of madam Gloria in seeking a position in Congress.

But no matter what she say, there's only one thing that I see here - and it spells G-R-E-E-D.

Mark Bautista - Mang Inasal Commercial

I just want to comment on the Mang Inasal commercial with Mark Bautista as the endorser. In the commercial, Mark says (something like) that eating chicken barbecue of Mang Inasal is "nakasanayan na" even during his childhood. The commercial wants to emphasize that Mark has been eating the Mang Inasal chicken barbecue since he was a child that's why he said "hinahanap-hanap niya".

But did really Mark even knew Mang Inasal when he was still a child? Absolutely NO. Mark was lying when he said "nakasanayan na niya ang Mang Inasal". The truth is, Mang Inasal was not yet existing in Cagayan de Oro City (where he grew-up) when he was still a child. That's it. We (Cagay-anons) know that Mark was lying in the commercial and we do know that there's no big deal with it. But why am I blogging it? The truth is, I am running out of something to blog. So as I see it in TV, then I said I'll blog it and here it is, a nonsense post :)

Angel Locsin in the Emmy's

Angel Locsin is currently in New York City for the 37th International Emmy's Awards night. Angel is the only representative from the Philippines for the prestigious awards giving body. She was selected as one of the finalists in the Best Performance by an Actress category in her superb performance in "Lobo".

Angel is against the best actresses of the world who came from Mexico, France and others. It was reported that Angel asked her leading man in "Lobo" Piolo Pascual to accompany her in the red carpet but Piolo begged off because of his commitment in "Lovers In Paris" with KC Conception.

Just Another Oes Tsetnoc Support

This post is just a support to my oes tsetnoc entry in the ongoing International SEO Contest by Promo Junkie Webmasters Forum. I created a subdomain in one of my sites that will serve later are another support for my main entry.

This support site has been receiving a lot of links from friends whom I requested to link to. After this site is fully indexed by Google, I am going to redirect it to my main entry in the last two weeks of the oes tsetnoc competition and try to find out if it can give a push to my entry.

This is another SEO experiment that I am going to make in case a certain site cannot outrank some other sites, then I am going to make a sort of "replica" site with unique content, create links, then redirect (301) it to the main site and see if it can push the main site further.

Big Brother Syndrome Come 2010

Big Brother syndrome is, in computer world - the fear that somebody is watching over what you are doing in the computer. We've been hearing about hacking, the eagle eye, eavesdropping, etc.

That fear is now being used by some crock politicians running for the 2010 elections in the Philippines. They are still resorting to the three G's in Philippine elections - guns, gold and goons. As early as today, reports of intimidating the voters has been reaching the news, thanks to ABS-CBN boto patrollers.

One report says that the goons of a certain politician are telling the voters that they will know if they (voters) vote for their bet or not by looking at the computers. They claim that they know whom they voted by eavesdropping from the politician's headquarters.

Voters, who, majority are computer illiterates, will come easily as prey to these crocs. Through this way, intimidation can greatly affect the decision of the voters. When voters are intimidated, they may vote the wrong candidate and again put the Philippines in doom.

The best alternative to protect the voters is information campaign from the COMELEC. They must educate the people not only hoe to use the machines but also to the security of their votes , free from fear that the bullies are watching them as they cast their votes. Through this way, we will be having a cleaner and orderly computerized elections.

I just notice this "TV Commercial" wars and the latest war going on today is the shampoo commercials. Head & Shoulders have Manny Pacquiao in their latest commercial (see video below).

I just do not know the statistics how those commercials are doing in terms of ROI for both products. The companies won't surely release the figures.

I just remember the Belo vs Calayan issue earlier this year involving Boy Abunda. I just want to borrow their "tag line" during their war in this new war:

Oes Tsetnoc Draws Nearer to End (United States of America)

It's not 2012. But the end I am talking about is the culmination of the International SEO Contest sponsored by Promo Junkie website with the key phrase OES TSETNOC.

My entry has luckily entered the top 10 yesterday morning but was later dislodged in the afternoon by other entries. It crawled up to the 9th spot in the morning yesterday then slowly crawled back down until it reached the 11th spot today (in the United States data center, I'm still in the top ten in other data centers).

I   am still confident however that it will again climb up to the to p10 in the coming days as many more incoming links are not yet recognized by Google until today. But it may climb for more spots or not, it's already a great performance for me. I am a newbie not only in the SEO contest but in the SEO field also. This is not an excuse however, but it's really a great experience for me.

By the way, I am mentioning here the country United States because my entry is doing good in other data centers but not in the United States. I'm not sure if this can help however.

Kris Aquino and Sharon Cuneta in One Project

Kris Aquino and Sharon Cuneta are going to do a movie together for the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival. Kris and Sharon has already started shooting the movie entitled "Mano Po 6" which is expected to break box office records.

Although, in my personal opinion, Kris is not that great actress compared to Sharon, but it will be Kris' charisma that will be a big plus factor. It is a powerhouse cast which includes Zsa Zsa Padilla and Heart Evengelista.

This movie is one of the official entries in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival and I will be posting other entries soon.

Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach In A New Movie

Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach are scheduled to do a movie next year. This was revealed by Aga himself in the shooting of his upcoming movie with Regine Velasquez "Of All The Things". The said movie has no final title yet but it said to be directed by premiere director Olive Lamasan.

According to Aga, his movie with Angel was suposed to come first before his movie with Regine but with some changes to the concept of the movie, it was moved to a later date.

Ini a separate interview with Angel Locsin, she said; "Mga January pa ata ang simula ng shooting. Kai si kuya Aga, mayroon pa siyang movie with ate Regine, so siyempre hihintayin pa muna yon."

A lot of Angel's fans are very excited for this project while waiting for the final result of the Emmys awards where she was nominated.

Wowowee and the Pests in the Government

I watched Wowowee yesterday and a certain contestant caught my attention that I feel I am going to blog it today. The contestants were "Basurero/basureras" and stories of poverties from them made some of the audience to shed tears.

One of the contestants brought with her an ID of her grandchild and showed it to Willie Revillame while the poor woman was crying. According to her, more or less 5 times she and her grandchild went to Wowowee and tried to approach Willie but to no avail (but I want to make it clear that it was not Willie who refused to see them).

The reason why they wanted to approach Willlie during those times is that they want to ask for a nebulizer since the child is suffering from asthma.Unfortunately, the child died last August due to her ailment since her medical needs were not provided due to poverty.

In that very moment, what I thought of was the wide corruption happening in our government. The one million peso dinner of  our beloved president, the corruption scandals that rocked this administration and now, the congressmen who are going to the US just to watch Manny Pacquiao fight with the government's money.

All of those dirty money pocketed by these pests in the government, if properly disbursed, how many lives has been saved from those meaningless deaths? If only they have conscience...

As a result, those impoverish people are losing their trust in the government. Imagine, the said contestant wanted to ask help from Willie and not from the government because she knows that her concern may only fall on deaf ears. Ears of the pests masquerading as public servants who have no other agenda but to enrich themselves.

Don't let the people lost their trust from you, pests. Magbago na kayo!

Cagayan de Oro City Flood Preparedness

Cagayan de Oro City experienced the worst natural catastrophe last January 2009 when the entire city was devastated by heavy flooding. The main culprit as to the cause of the flood was the drainage system and illegal loggers and quarry operators that are destroying the city's environment.

When Metro Manila was also devastated by flood early last month, I came to think if Cagayan de Oro has already learned its lesson. But the way I see it, people just didn't learn. People still throw garbage everywhere, especially in the drainage and news of quarry are still operating in some parts of the city.

Further, subdivisions are sprouting within the floodways thus creating more danger when heavy rains will pour over the region. Commercial land developers and city officials are conniving for huge profits without thinking on the negative effects of these subdivisions.

The drainage system is now under repair but many observers say this won't be enough as rumors of corruption again marred the project. Settlers along the spillways are also mushrooming and reclamation of the creeks and flood ways are also unabated.

What happened Metro Manila is not far from happening here in Cagayan de Oro City. So to my fellow Kagay-anons, be vigilant and only self discipline can save us from that catastrophe to happen again.

My Rica Peralejo Site Closes

I have been a fan of Miss Rica Peralejo. She is so beautiful and there was time that I felt I was in love with her (with exaggeration). But when she turned into bold movies, my heart was aching to see her being kissed and ****** by different actors.

As a protest, I created a website that exposes the bold/sexy/naked video clips from her movies and posted them there. Then I left that site and even web development i left it and concentrated for Visual Basic programming.

Then I realized, the protest site I made for Rica was ranking no.1 in Google and I was surprised by that. It was years ago that I created and then when I tried to search for the term Rica Peralejo, it appeared in the top spot in Google's SERP. I immediately removed all mature pictures there with due respect to Rica.

Now, the site closes with the closure of Geocities.com. Anyway, that was a good experience to me and that site really gave me the opportunity to venture in web development and make money from them.

It all started with a "protest" site and here I am now, earning a decent money out of my online journey.

Oes Tsetnoc SEO Strategies

In this Oes Tsetnoc contest, I am employing the SEO strategies I learned from scavenging the net for SEO techniques. So far, those techniques are quite effective as my sites are ranking well for their respective keywords.

Further, as I try those techniques against the best in the world, I find it quite effective as it is ranking in the top 20 (13th as of this writing) in Google's SERP. Wow, I am already very happy for this. At least, i found out that my strategies can be at par against the best SEO specialists in the world.

I also found out that there's a lot more to put in my SEO arsenal to further improve it in SEO contests in the future.

Why Kris Aquino Picks Dingdong Dantes for Noynoy

When news broke that Kris Aquino picked Dingdong Dantes to be the endorser / youth spokesman for Noynoy's presidential bid, some eyebrows raised. It can be noted that Dingdong is a Kapuso talent while Kris is a gem in ABS-CBN.

Some asked why not Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, John Lloyd Cruz or other stars of the Kapamilya network? Some says it is because Dingdong has no blemish in his record as an actor and in his personal life. Piolo and Sam were rumored to be in a relationship before, but still, there are some Kapamilya stars who have no bad record or whatsoever.

For me, the choice of Dingdong is a briliant political move by Noynoy's camp. It cannot be denied that both the Kapuso and Kapamilya have huge following all over the country. Those loyal followers can be translated into votes come election time.

The Kapamilya's can be taken care of by Kris Aquino, who is a Kapamilya herself. We know the charisma of Kris. he can bring other Kapamilya stars to campaign for Noynoy. Now, how about the Kapuso followers? That is now the responsibility of Dingdong. Dingdong will be in-charge in wooing the Kapuso voters for Noynoy.

In fact, as of this writing, Marian Rivera, who is a Kapuso star and rumored girlfriend of Dingdong, has already expressed her support for the candidacy of Noynoy. When the election comes nearer, more and more Kapuso stars will follow the lead initiated by Dingdong and Marian.

Imagine the battalion of Kapamilya and Kapuso stars campaigning for Noynoy. One of their slogans would be "Unity" and you can see the competing stars united for him and that will have a great impact on the masses.

I don't know what these people are up to why they are looking for Kris' email address. Maybe they want the latest showbiz chicka from Kris to go straight to their inbox or they want to donate for the victims of Ondoy.

But no matter what, I am blogging this to optimize the keyword stated above.

Modern Tinikling

Tinikling is the national dance in the Philippines. Dancers wear the traditional Maria Clara costume and dance gracefully with the beat of the bamboos providing the tempo of the dance.

Modern dancers still wear those Maria Clara costume but with some modern touch - look at the picture below.

I was never a fan of Tinikling, but with dancers as beautiful and sexy as the above, I would love to watch it. Look at the skirt held up and the strap of the bra peeping... She's beautiful huh? I think I'm falling for her :)

I stumbled upon a site that offers oven cleaning services in the UK. I am not aware that there are companies like this are offering that kind of service. Maybe, I said, people there are just real busy that's why there are companies as such that exist.

Further, there are companies of the same line of services that offers refrigerator cleaning, bathroom cleaning, house cleaning, kitchen equipment cleaning and more cleaning services. I guess, there's a lot of Pinoy kababayans that are working on those companies.

That's what Pinoys are for in foreign countries, we do the dirty jobs but those jobs are legitimate and what Filipinos call "marangal na trabaho" and most of them are earning a lot more than bank managers in the Philippines!

Good luck to our kababayans there and more power to you! Pay your taxes so that our president can have that lavish dinner again worth millions of pesos.

I received a text message saying Manny Pacquiao is going to lose against Miguel Cotto in their upcoming mega fight come November 14. Tell this to the paclanders and you will get a lot of hate messages from the pacnuts, but not from the true Pacman fans.

Mayweather vs Marquez

I watched the fight in ABS-CBN (delayed telecast) and Mayweather proved he still got the moves as he impressively outclassed much smaller Marquez in the fight. Marquez is naturally smaller but Mayweather still got the balls to take advantage by not going down to the contracted weight limit for the fight. He gave away $600,000 for the extra pounds so that he can take advantage of the smaller Marquez (real intelligent fighter).

Anyway, Mayweather has proven he is back by beating Marquez the way he did it. But watching the whole 12 rounds of the fight, I can summarize it in one word: B-O-R-I-N-G

P.S. The post fight interview was more entertaining than the fight itself.

KRISTINE HERMOSA allegedly took care of Diether Ocampo when the latter was admitted in a US hospital during the Kapamily Star Magic tour in the US. There was no talk about this before since Diet was afraid that his girlfriend will be jealous since its an open book that Kristine is his ex-wife.

But during Diether's birthday recently, the actor admitted that Kristin indeed took care of him in the hospital.

“Kasi naman, may pinagsamahan naman kami at siya ang nandun na malapit kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa care and concern niya.”

Diet also said that if his girlfriend had her way, she had flown to the US to his side during his confinement.

Roxanne Guinoo Denies Rift With John Estrada

ROXANNE GUINOO denies any rift with actor John Estrada. Rumors of the two fighting sprouted when Roxanne was reportedly came late in their comedy show and John confronted her. The two then reportedly exchanged harsh words against each other.

In an interview with "Showbiz News Ngayon", Roxanne admitted that she was indeed tardy during that time but there was no confrontation that happened, especially the exchange of angry words that was reported.

Piolo Pascual Is Still Courting KC Concepcion

After keeping silent or secretive on the true status of their relationship, Piolo Pascual has finally admitted that he is still courting KC Concepcion. This was revealed by Piolo in his interview in The Buzz last July 19.

On the next day, many are surprised when they saw Piolo and KC came together in the opening night of Cinemalaya in the Cultural Center of the Philippines or CCP. Piolo is the producer of "Manila" which is an official entry in Cinemalaya.

According to Piolo, he personally invited KC for the said event and he is very happy KC accepted Piolo's invitation.

When asked by reporters if they are now going steady, "hindi pa kami," Piolo's short answer.

Ara Mina Joins Concert For The Environment

ARA MINA joins other Kapampangan artists in a concert to gather support for the campaign to save the trees in Pampanga.

This developed after DENR secretary Lito Atienza has given permit to DPWH to cut down trees along the highway from Apalit to San Fernando, Pampanga to give way for the road's widening project.

A number of Kapampangan artists painted the trunks of the trees with a human figure with arms stretched out and around the tree trunk. But due to financial burden, they ran out of paints ans asks other artists to join their cause.

That's the time local bands including actress Ara Mina spearheaded a concert for a cause and they generated more than one thousand signatures supporting the campaign.

CARLA ABELLANA has been very excited of her debut telenovela "Rosalinda". At last, it graced the small screen yesterday with fans exciting to watch her and her leading man Geoff Eigenmann.

Expectations were high, since the original Rosalinda topbilled by Thalia was one of the highest rated Mexican telenovela in the Philippines. The Carla and Rosalinda didn't meet the expectations. The show garnered only 26.7 percent in the TV ratings by AGB Mega Manila households. It ranked 6th overall the primetime shows, not really a good showing for a program expected to grab the leadership in ratings.

But that's only the initial episode. Let's wait for more days then we'll judge if Carla Abellana is just a hype.
